LeoVegas TV Campaign

Toast pitched to develop this LeoVegas TV campaign. LeoVegas a relatively new, Swedish entrant to the mobile gambling market. Already highly successful, Leo Vegas wanted to heighten brand awareness in this busy sector.

The idea centers around the fact that you can pop off to ‘Vegas’ for ten minutes any time you want a flutter – Leo Vegas that is. It’s that easy to escape the mundane and the tedious. And all you have to tell people is that you have “Gone to Vegas.” With 20 free spins, you’re away.

Toast developed a campaign of 9 x 30 second DRTV ads to be deployed over the first 6 months of 2016 designed to keep their audience guessing and the campaign fresh.
Having such a varied set of scripts meant for a very exciting shoot. We travelled to locations across the UK – including Broadstairs Beach in December to film the LeoVegas Advert! However undoubtedly the best thing about filming this campaign was getting to work with Leo Vegas star, Leo the lion. No Leo Vegas campaign is complete without an appearance from ‘Leo’ the lion, a hand crafted animatronic Lion’s head and the brand’s loyal ambassador. Able to blink, twitch his whiskers and move his mouth, this bespoke gadget remains the pièce de resistance of the Leo Vegas campaign.
With Roger Rex and Roger Sealey (also known as The2Rogers) as the masterminds behind the creative and award-winning directing duo, Nic & Sune on board, the campaign has been a success. So much so that they decided to keep it running beyond the original six month plan!
